Overview
About this vessel
This 2010 Silverton 36 is a standout example of a well-designed American flybridge motor yacht, offering generous interior volume, comfortable cruising and excellent practicality for family use or entertaining in Hong Kong waters. What truly sets this yacht apart is the comprehensive mechanical and cosmetic refurbishment undertaken by the current owner, making her an exceptional value proposition in this size range.
She is currently kept on a private mooring in Hong Kong, which can be transferred to the new owner (subject to approval) — a significant advantage in the local market.
Interior & Accommodation
The Silverton 36 is renowned for her spacious interior layout and excellent headroom. The two-cabin layout features a forward master cabin with shower compartment and a port guest cabin with bunk beds, with a shared bathroom with shower and marine head.
The galley down to starboard is well equipped with refrigerator, microwave and ample storage. The bright saloon features new leather sofas on both sides, new carpets throughout, cherry wood interior finish, TV and sound system, and a removable dining table.
Flybridge & Deck
A large flybridge seating area with upper helm station is complemented by a foldable bimini top (new in 2024). The helm layout is simple and practical. Safe side decks and generous cockpit space provide areas for socialising or fishing.
Mechanical & Systems
The engines have been fully overhauled with new pistons, rings, cylinder linings, fuel pump and turbo (starboard). New starter motors and alternators have also been installed, with engines running for only limited test hours since overhaul. Major systems have been renewed, including a new bow thruster, new batteries, new waste tanks with macerator pump, new raw-water strainers, new water pumps, new AC units (9,000 BTU cabins / 12,000 BTU saloon), new circuit breakers, new engine room heat shielding, bilges repainted, and LED exterior lighting throughout. The generator was replaced in 2023 with an Onan 9.5 kW generator, fully serviced prior to installation. The vessel was hauled out, antifouled and new anodes fitted in June 2025.
