Alaska 49 Aft Cabin

Located at Sanctuary Cove, this Alaska 49 Yacht Fisher Motor Yacht provides a full beam aft master cabin with king size bed and separate head and shower. There is excellent separation for cruising with families or friends, with 2 cabins forward, each with separate head and shower. The VIP in the bow has a queen size bed and the starboard cabin has 2 singles. The front companionway has a combo washing machine/dryer.

The centrally located saloon separates the cabins and has the lower helm to starboard with side door for easy access to the front deck. The galley along the port side has plenty of work space and storage, and includes a fridge, freezer, induction cooktop, dishwasher and convection microwave. There is a pop up 40 inch Samsung smart TV opposite the dinette with U shaped lounge. The hi-lo table converts to a coffee table at the press of a button. All cabins have a combined TV/DVD and there is a booster for telephone/internet reception. The sundeck has comfortable seating for 8 people and includes an ice maker, fridge, and sink with storage above and below. The flybridge has a further fridge and seats 8 comfortably with two helm chairs. Both areas have clears and are fully screened with breezeways.

The cockpit has another fridge/freezer and sink, a new electric BBQ, a lazarette and is well set up with plenty of room for fishing. There is an engineered SS tow pole to allow for towing of a larger boat if required. The cockpit is directly accessible from the master cabin. A gate to starboard accesses the hydraulic platform and ensures that the cockpit is safe for children. The remote-controlled hydraulic platform makes launching and retrieving the centre console dingy a dream. Walking forward from the sundeck, there are weather screens on each companionway and LED lighting under the railings all the way forward. The oversized SS 60kg Ultra anchor ensures confidence at anchor.

The helms are well equipped with Raymarine hybrid screens (two at lower helm), radar, forward sonar, and remote anchor controls. The cruising skipper will appreciate the 160l/hr water maker and 10 man life raft. Other inclusions are SS kayak brackets, underwater lights and large fibreglass storage box and ice chest, both of which can be attached to the sundeck roof and accessed with the SS ladder from the cockpit. Playmate has just returned to water after antifouling and prop speed to running gear, new shaft bearings and polish to topsides and hull.
