About this vessel
A three-deck expedition yacht built by Avangard Yachts in Pula, Croatia in 2014. Her steel hull is powered by twin MTU 12V2000 M70 engines, offering an impressive range of 3500nm at 11 knots. The owner took official delivery in April 2018.
Avangard 42m features beautiful teak decks on all three levels, with outdoor areas thoughtfully designed to provide the owner and guests with several spaces to dine, lounge in the sun or shade, or relax in the Jacuzzi. The stern features a huge hydraulic Opacmare swim platform, with the davit positioned on the bow.
Accommodation is provided for ten guests in five staterooms. The master stateroom occupies the main deck and includes a small office area with desk on the outboard side and a cleverly disguised walk-in closet opposite. The stateroom features a flush-mounted TV, Bose surround sound, a two-person sofa, and an en-suite granite bathroom with a large rain shower.
The two VIP aft queen cabins each have an en-suite bathroom containing shower, toilet, and bidet, with customized marble throughout. Each VIP has a couch facing the TV on the outboard side and a work desk beneath the TV.
Two forward twin cabins each offer an en-suite shower room with toilet and customized marble. Both guest staterooms include a full Bose entertainment system and recessed lighting underneath the beds.
