Ilrea is a fully equipped near new three-cabin sailing catamaran offering an outstanding opportunity to step into fast, comfortable cruising with nothing more to spend. Now available in one of the world's premier cruising destinations, she presents exceptional value and performance in a highly refined package.
She is the factory extended 43 foot version of the Catathai 40 Grand Voyage, designed by the renowned French naval architecture team Jean and Frasca Design. The result is a sleek and efficient cruising catamaran that blends performance, comfort and practicality.
The spacious saloon and galley are seamlessly integrated with the large covered cockpit on the same level, creating an expansive open-plan living area with excellent ventilation and near 360 degree visibility. The layout provides generous space for entertaining both inside and out.
Sailing systems are simple and well thought out with all control lines led aft to the elevated helm station under a bimini. This allows for easy and safe short handed sailing. The interior navigation station enjoys excellent forward visibility and is conveniently positioned adjacent to the owner's suite.
Flat decks ensure safe and easy movement around the yacht with direct access to the forward trampolines for relaxation and enjoyment underway. Multiple seating and lounging areas in the cockpit under the hard top further enhance onboard comfort.
Light displacement of approximately 6 tonnes combined with a 101 sqm mainsail and headsail area delivers impressive performance, with strong upwind capability and excellent off wind speed when flying the 80 sqm gennaker.
The current owner has enjoyed Ilrea since her launch in 2022 following Covid related build delays and has since refined and upgraded many onboard systems, resulting in a well sorted and highly maintained vessel in near new condition. She was antifouled and her two engines with approximately 600 hours each were serviced in January 2026 and she is currently dry stored.
