MY ICE is designed to be the toughest explorer yacht on the market. Just under 24 m, she is designed to cross the seven seas in total safety.
ICE is built and designed by Soyaslan Design, who have a leading role in the Turkish shipbuilding industry since 1980. They have completed over 100 successful projects. Soyaslan Design were winners of the BOAT International Design & Innovation Awards 2023 in categories: Best Naval Architecture, Semi-displacement or Planing Motor Yachts and ECO award.
The exterior design features an ice-white superstructure with deep overhangs that shade the dark glazing. The wheelhouse windows are raked lightly back, protecting them from rain and the sun alike. The yacht has been built using high tensile steel with an ice belt and heat-resistant glass and features an air conditioning system designed to warm the interior as well as cool.
Onboard highlights include a fully private flybridge, skylounge and aft sundeck all equipped with comfortable seating that provides an oasis for guests to escape to. The main aft deck has access to a swim platform where guests can easily access the water.
The stylish interiors feature bleached oak, dark veneers and warm carpets. The high-quality design was created by BAZ Design Studios, who have also designed Nautor's Swan and other prestigious brands.
The main salon has plenty of natural light and parquet flooring. Fine wool carpets and neutral coloured upholstery are matched with light stone tabletops and freestanding chairs and poufs.
Each cabin has an ensuite bathroom and plenty of storage, with opening portholes for natural ventilation.
The spacious galley located on the main deck provides all the amenities a good chef needs to excel. It features an island in the middle, adding extra workspace.
ICE is a three-deck and flybridge motor yacht that offers space throughout.
The aft deck is accessible from the swimming platform via stairs on both sides of the hull. Here you can find a beautifully appointed alfresco dining area with seating for up to eight people on a wooden deck. A passerelle hidden in the stairs on the port side gives access to the aft deck when docked at the port.
The main salon is accessible through the aft cockpit via sliding doors. Forward of the salon is a dining area that can host up to 10 guests. A day head is located at starboard side.
ICE has a conventional layout with a full-beam owner's cabin forward on the main deck featuring a queen-size bed. The ensuite bathroom forward houses a his-and-hers sink and shower, with floor-to-ceiling storage.
Additional eight guests can be accommodated across three double suites and one bunk cabin on the lower deck. These quarters are accessible from stairs leading down from the main salon. The bunk cabin, located forward to port, would be well-suited for children and also has an ensuite bathroom.
Crew area is accommodated in the lower deck aft area, with access from the main deck port side right next to the sliding door in the salon. All crew cabins have their own ensuite bathrooms.
The sky lounge/upper deck is accessible through beautiful oak steps going up on the port side of the main deck. The foredeck is accessible by port and starboard walkways and offers extra seating and a place for a coffee table—the perfect breakfast place from which to start the day aboard.
The aft outside sundeck with sofa seating and sunbeds is close to 20 sqm. A 5 m tender is stored there and hoisted by an 800 kg custom-made hydraulic crane with enough boom to reach the center of the swimming platform below. Once the tender is launched, this area adds to the sundeck that serves guests as a shaded sunbathing area. A small dining table across the bar unit houses a fridge, sink and ice maker on the port side.
A fully private flybridge is accessible from the starboard side via the upper deck aft.
