About this vessel
The 531 Fortress Wide Body is a fishing-focused design with marine-grade construction throughout. Side and top panels are marine-grade 3mm with marine-grade 5mm chines on the bottom. The welded 4mm tread plate floor provides underfloor buoyancy. A spray chine, bow keel wear strip, and foam buoyancy gunnels protect the hull in rough water.
The casting deck features a hatch with provision to run fuel line to the transom, drains including hatch drain, and a recessed self-draining anchor locker with hinged lid. Rod bars are mounted on the port side with a storage rack on the starboard side. A live bait tank is positioned on the LHS with a storage bin on the RHS. The flush transom includes a splash well and accommodates tiller steering only.
A bow sprit with rope guides and rails, rear steps and rails, and blind sockets for seats (accommodating up to 5 seats if required) round out the build. A plate for transducer mounting and a bracket for live bait pump are included.
