The Chaparral 28 Surf combines wake-surfing capability with a deep V hull design suitable for bay use. The boat is built with consideration for harsh salt environments—the gelcoat, stainless fittings, wiring, and upholstery are engineered to hold up in these demanding conditions.
The 28 Surf pushes a solid wake and allows you to easily adjust the height and length by simply trimming the stern drive unit or adjusting the ballast via the surf computer. The stern drive also allows steering control in reverse, uses less fuel, directs exhaust gasses under the rider, and allows you to approach shallow water areas more safely than traditional shaft drives.
