PROJECT OCEA X47 is a 47m aluminium new build yacht, a project from French shipyard Ocea SA. Accommodation is provided for 12 guests across 7 staterooms, with exterior lines by Joubert-Nivelt Design and interiors by Franck Darnet Design.
PROJECT OCEA X47 has a fast displacement hull, engineered for genuine long-range, ocean-going cruising rather than short coastal use. Built to Bureau Veritas class and compliant with MCA standards, the yacht has a top speed of 17 knots, a cruising speed of 15 knots, and a range of 4,000 nautical miles at 11 knots.
Power comes from two CAT 12V/C32 ACERT engines rated at 1,300 hp (970 kW) each, supported by two Kohler 80 EFOZ generators of 80 kW.
As a project yacht, the layout remains open to the buyer's requirements. Current plans call for a full-beam master stateroom on the main deck, with two double, two twin and two single staterooms arranged on the lower deck. This flexibility extends across the wider specification, with scope for an Owner to shape the finish and arrangement of the interior to their own brief.
Tender and toy stowage is planned in a below-deck compartment at the bow, sized for a main tender measuring 5.65m x 2.35m x 1.3m and two Jet Skis stowed alongside it. A rescue tender is designed to sit on the upper deck, launched by a manual ATLAS 2000-type crane or equivalent.
