MiSCHKA (ex SEEADLER ex HALUA) was built at the Burger Boat Company in Manitowoc, Wisconsin in 1966, one of the very best aluminum yacht builders in the world. Sparkman & Stephens yacht designers were in their prime, designing for the Titans of the '60s. The build pedigree of this yacht is stellar.
Between 2014 and 2016, MiSCHKA was rebuilt at Lauderdale Marine Center in Ft. Lauderdale. She was completely gutted and sandblasted to bare aluminum, surveyed; about 30% of the tanks and bottom were re-plated. Awlgrip paint systems were applied throughout. Every piece of equipment inside the yacht was replaced with top-of-the-line products. The deck house was removed and was artfully redesigned and lowered to a flush deck house center and aft cockpit profile above with her beautiful sheer line using sections of the original S&S Burger structures. The interior configuration was transformed into an expansive, wide-open, light-bathed modern bamboo beach house cruising villa with 2 bedrooms, 2 ensuite bathrooms (3rd stateroom option). She can reach anywhere there is 5'6" of water with the centerboard up (15' with centerboard down) and 64' of air draft.
MiSCHKA spent the next 7 years after her rebuild in the Exumas with her owner living aboard, mostly off the grid. She was filled with family, friends and tons of water sports. The owners are building their Bahama dream house now with more kids on the way. The time has come to secure new custodians.
The yacht does need some exterior cosmetic and deck work. As she is, you can sail away. Mechanically, she has less than 600 original engine hours. The interior has had light use and is currently in very nice condition.
MiSCHKA is a thoroughly transformed modern classic with a strong pedigreed history, offering a big, bold and distinctive yacht with extraordinary character, style and heritage with an all-modern interior and machinery.
