The 2017 Dufour 512 Grand Large is a rare example with no charter history, having been privately owned and carefully maintained since new under the continuous supervision of Mora Yachts.
After the success of the Dufour 500 GL, produced up to 140 units, Dufour proposes a revisited version of this exceptional yacht, which benefits from all the innovations and features integrated in the latest Grand Large models.
This is not a typical second-hand 512. It is a true owner-spec yacht, thoughtfully configured, selectively upgraded, and consistently well preserved.
In 2022, the yacht received a comprehensive performance upgrade. The sail inventory includes a UK Sails X-Drive Carbon furling mainsail, a self-tacking genoa, a cruising asymmetric spinnaker, and a storm jib. This sail package delivers a notable advantage in both performance and durability within its segment.
All seacocks have been upgraded to modern TruDesign composite systems, reflecting a conscious and safety-oriented ownership approach in mechanical and onboard systems.
The spacious forepeak offers valuable additional storage capacity for long-range cruising equipment, sails, and spare gear—an important advantage for owner use.
Comfort on board is enhanced by a Dometic central air conditioning system with distribution to all cabins, as well as an Eberspächer heating system.

Handling and anchoring are made easy and secure with an Ultra stainless steel anchor, 100 metres of 12 mm chain, chain counter, Jet Thruster bow thruster, and three electric winches—well suited for Mediterranean cruising.
The hull has been protected with a full wrap since new, renewed in 2022, ensuring that the gelcoat has not been exposed to UV fatigue. The wrap can be removed at any time to reveal the original white hull.
