The Dufour 470 is a 47-foot bluewater cruiser that blends the shipyard’s long-standing performance heritage with a fresh, contemporary design. A powerful hull form, clean deck lines and a fluid cockpit layout deliver confident offshore capability while keeping sail handling effortless for crews of any size.
This model is offered in three distinct deck configurations – Easy, Ocean and Performance – allowing owners to tailor the running rigging and cockpit ergonomics from relaxed family cruising through to race-focused sailing. A modern, injection-moulded deck and fibreglass hull construction keep weight under control while ensuring strength and durability.
Below deck, the Dufour 470 offers multiple interior layouts with up to four cabins and four heads, plus options for Pullman and skipper cabins. Longitudinal and forward galley arrangements maximise usable space and create comfortable, well-lit living areas for extended cruising. Generous tankage, a large sail plan and the option of a smart electric propulsion pack round out a design aimed at sailors who want both long-range autonomy and rewarding performance on the helm.
