Overview
About this vessel
The FPY 70s is a 22-metre sailing yacht catamaran that redefines long-range cruising with a focus on elegance, comfort and quiet, energy-efficient navigation. Its powerful yet refined exterior lines, expansive glazing and carefully sculpted volumes create a yacht that is as striking at anchor as it is capable underway, embodying Fountaine Pajot’s yacht signature at the top end of the sailing range.
Offering around 226 m² of living space, the FPY 70s is designed as a residence in motion for up to 12 guests and 5 crew. A vast 51 m² aft terrace-style cockpit flows into the saloon, while the 31 m² flybridge provides a panoramic lounge and helm with dedicated sunbathing, dining and relaxation zones. Forward, a 27 m² lounge-style terrace with integrated spa creates an intimate, resort-like retreat. The Maestro owner’s suite extends to about 25–26 m², delivering the privacy and volume normally found on much larger superyachts.
The FPY 70s is conceived for highly personalised layouts, with up to eight interior configurations. Owners can choose a galley on the main deck or in the hulls, with three to six guest cabins and as many as five crew cabins. This flexibility allows every yacht to be tailored to its cruising programme, whether focused on private family voyaging, charter hosting or extended liveaboard use. A broad selection of materials, textures and tonalities further refines the atmosphere on board.
At the helm, the FPY 70s delivers the responsive, sea-kindly behaviour for which Fountaine Pajot is known. Generous sail areas, including a 168 m² fully battened mainsail and 114 m² genoa, ensure efficient performance under sail, while standard twin 150 hp diesel engines provide reliable propulsion in light airs and for manoeuvring. With significant fresh water and fuel capacities, 7000 W of solar panels, generator and a high-capacity watermaker, the yacht is engineered for reinforced autonomy so that systems such as air conditioning, spa, lighting and multimedia remain available in quiet comfort.
Crew arrangements receive particular attention, with approximately 34 m² dedicated to professional-standard crew quarters, including a true captain’s cabin with private head and a separate crew mess. Circulation routes and service areas are designed so crew can work discreetly, preserving the calm, private atmosphere for guests. Together, these features position the FPY 70s as an iconic sailing yacht catamaran for owners seeking a highly customisable, ocean-capable platform where luxury is expressed through space, silence and ease of living on board.
