SOVEREIGN is a stunning Lidgard 73 Custom catamaran, built in Australia in 2005 with epoxy construction and carbon fiber reinforced cross beams. Commissioned as a custom design by Executive Yachts, she was placed into service by the original owner in 2007 and has sailed extensively worldwide.

This high-performance sailing catamaran is capable of reaching 22 knots under sail and cruising under power comfortably at 10 knots. Her shallow draft makes her ideal for Bahamas cruising. The 6-cabin layout accommodates 12 guests, with two cabins on the main deck level featuring ensuite heads and 4 additional cabins within her two hulls. Her sleek helm and self-tacking jib make her easy to sail short-handed.

SOVEREIGN is equipped with the latest Garmin electronics, new sails, substantial tender-lift, and advanced safety equipment including stainless railing around the entire deck, engine-driven crash pumps, and dual life rafts. She features generous refrigerator and freezer space, abundant storage, immense trampoline areas, and a 20ft wide swim platform.

Purchased by her current owner in 2017, SOVEREIGN underwent a major refit in Greece where she was sailed for two years before making the journey to the Caribbean in 2019. She has spent time in the Spanish and British Virgin Islands and has journeyed between the Caribbean, the Bahamas, Charleston, the Chesapeake Bay, and the Mediterranean. The current owner has sailed her extensively with family and friends. SOVEREIGN has never been chartered and has been maintained to very high standards. Currently USCG documented, she offers proven offshore capabilities and has demonstrated her range and reliability across multiple ocean passages and cruising grounds.
