About this vessel
This is a Moody DS 54, a four-cabin sailing yacht with comprehensive cruising systems. The vessel features shaft drive with a 4-bladed folding Flexofold propeller, and is equipped with Mac power bow and stern thrusters for enhanced manoeuvrability. Power is supplied by eight 165 A AGM Victron service batteries supplemented by two 400 W solar panels. A Fisher Panda 15000i generator provides additional electrical capacity.
The interior accommodates four cabins and three WC bathrooms, with climate control throughout: six Dometic 48000 BTU air conditioning units provide heating and cooling to each cabin. The galley features a Miele microwave oven, dishwasher, gas oven and three-burner hob. A Miele washer and dryer is installed for laundry. Three refrigerators support provisions. An integrated water maker produces 220 lt/h and feeds into a 900 lt tank, with additional storage in three 60 lt grey water tanks.
The teak deck and cockpit add traditional aesthetic appeal. Three electric toilets service the cabins and heads. Navigation is managed by a comprehensive Raymarin suite: Quantum radar, autopilot with remote control, radio, AIS, GPS, and a 3 Pro touchscreen plotter. The Quick windlass features 120 m of 12-inch chrome chain with counter and hand/foot controls operable from remote and anchor side. An electric self-tacking jib and electric main sail, combined with an electric stay sail, provide modern sail handling. An electric Stay Sail supplements the inventory.
Deck equipment includes a Besenzoni electric gangway, Lewmar chrome anchor, and two Lewmar winches. The tender consists of an Aer marine dinghy with Torqeedo electric motor. Two Masterwolt 2500 inverters manage power conversion. An automatic fire extinguishing system provides safety. Additional features include night vision camera, sound system, TV with lift mechanism, cockpit and table cushions, hatch covers, porthole mosquito nets, and a Bimini for sun protection.
