The 2023 Stabicraft 1550 Frontier marks the much-anticipated return of a popular model. The boat has been reworked and rearranged for broader end-user appeal, expanding on the features of the smaller 1450 Frontier while offering an open-boat style alternative.
This package includes EVA foam as standard on all topside surfaces, dual boarding platforms and a ladder. The boat is spacious for its size. The Adventure boat is set up for tote-tank fuel with a fully welded treadplate floor. A windscreen and grabrail are included as standard.
Removable Casting Platform
A removable casting platform in the bow is available as a feature on select packages. It is built tough enough to stand on with total confidence but light enough for one person to carry and stow. This allows for quick reconfiguration of the boat whether heading out to lure fish from the bow or to carry passengers in the bow seating area. The bow casting deck is complemented by the standard forward locker lid and an additional platform on the winch cover, which together form a large area to cast from.
Flush Mount or Bracket Mount Consoles
The standard console in all packages is set up to optimise a bracket-mounted sounder with a large flat area on top behind the windscreen. A console with a bigger front face is available that can accommodate up to a 15in flush mount screen in some brands, offering flexibility for personal preference or security considerations.
Transom Options
The 1550 Frontier transom is an evolution of the 1550 Fisher transom architecture with improvements made for better battery access and storage. A powder-coated door hides the battery shelf and provides an additional storage compartment. The ski pole socket can take a pole-mounted bait board. A deluxe bait board with a dry storage locker is included on the Profish package and available as optional on others. A live bait tank is included in the Profish package and optional on other packages.
