This top condition houseboat is one of very few in Hong Kong able to claim to be totally off grid. Moored on its own anchors in the idyllic Plover Cove, in the Tai Po area. Immediate access to snorkeling, SUP, Kayak, island exploration, swimming to the nearby beach (500m), with endless cycling and hiking opportunities at your door step.
The boat features a very large living area comprising kitchen, living room and dining room. The kitchen is well located at the stern, with panoramic views on the beautiful surroundings and an American bar. The master bedroom is at the stern with en suite bathroom (shower, toilet and double sink) and walk-in closet. There are 3 single cabins, 1 extra guest cabin at the bow currently used as a fully equipped gym, 1 guest bathroom with bathtub, toilet, and double sink, 1 extra toilet with sink, and 1 small office.
The top deck features a large covered area with fixed stainless steel structure and bimini, an exterior dining area and barbeque. An aft terrace with steps leads to the top deck and steps lead to the landing platform.
The boat is equipped with a large solar installation, a 2 year old generator, a big lithium battery bank, giving total autonomy. Two water-makers provide all the drinking water necessary to a family of 5 living onboard full time. Complete overhaul in 2019: all surfaces, gel coats and brightworks in top condition. All systems in top working condition. Exceptional at every level. A floating 2,500 square feet villa, moored in a fabulous natural environment, rent free.
