About this vessel
Built by Borwicks of Windermere in the 1920s, "Merrie Maid" is once more in excellent condition following an extensive refurbishment by the conservators at the Windermere Jetty Museum. As part of the work carried out, the motor was replaced with an electric pod drive system by Krautler providing almost silent progress through the water. "Merrie Maid" is ready for a new owner either as a private vessel or with potential for use commercially.
