About this vessel
A classic 1929 Lowe & Sons displacement launch, built with considerable substance as a lighter tug. The hull features three skins of kauri to 2.5" thick, reflecting the robust construction of the period.
The vessel has been kept to a very high standard by the current owner and combines classic character with modern upgrades. Recent improvements include new electronics, a genset fitted in 2023, solar panels, and new hydraulic steering. The rudder pintle, cutlass bearing, and shaft seal are all new in 2025.
The layout includes a saloon with twin side doors, a head and shower accessed from the port side deck, two double cabins, and two singles in the fore peak. The aft area offers a great entertaining space with full clearance around the side deck seating area.
