Strong, solid and seriously for sale. Super reliable ex-pilot boat perfect for capable work boat, water taxi, fisher or long range coastal cruiser.
Designed and built 1952–53 by Lanes in Totara North of carvel Kauri planks over laminated framing. Owned by Northland Port Corporation from 1963–2000 as Whangarei Harbour pilot boat. Since 2000 run from Whangaroa Harbour between Three Kings Islands and Auckland and Great Barrier. Full refit 1984: aluminium wheelhouse, new engines, gearboxes, props, shafts, rudders, instrumentation and electrical system.
Spacious interior with good headroom. Saloon with seating, galley with water, 24v fridge and freezer and LPG stove. Sleeps 3: forward cabin with two singles in V-berth, aft cabin with one single, separate head.
