About this vessel

42 Bertram Sport Fisherman — a Battlewagon with all original paperwork including manual with wiring diagrams. Wired for 240V 50 Amp as well as 120V 30 amp. Windlass with 50 ft chain / 200ft rode with 3 anchors: Bruce, CQR and Fortress plus lunch anchor under sole. Sole was replaced with fiberglass in 2006. Hand mount Davit (only) for 10ft RIB on bow deck. Boat is rough around the edges, but is a solid, dependable fishing machine. This boat is ready on day one to go offshore fishing or a long extended trip anywhere you care to take her!

Recent service includes bottom paint, zinc replaced, and prop tuned in May 2025 at Jarrett Bay Boatworks. New brass engine pickups, dripless shaft couplings, solid epoxy and glass rudder shelf, and shaft cutlass bearings were all installed in May 2025 at Jarrett Bay Boatworks. Engine service completed in July 2025.

Equipped with a beautiful classic Rybovich fighting chair and custom built-in cockpit tuna door. Marine electronics include chartplotters, radar, sounders, VHF radios and autopilot, all in good working condition.
