About this vessel
A 1979 Cookson 420A aft cabin launched in December 1979. The hull was built by Cookson Boats from 25mm hand laid fiberglass. Reportedly built for Barry Crump, with the original name "Arrogance 11". The superstructure features Kauri timbers, built by Norris & Croft Boat Builders, and internal joinery in Burmese teak, fitted out by Marine Cabinet Makers Ltd.
Powered by twin Ford 180hp turbo diesel engines with approximately 4600 hours. The vessel is equipped with a brand new anchor winch and chain (55 metres), spare Danforth and 100 metres of rope. A Victron Multi Plus inverter/charger (3000 Watt) with remote is two years old. A Challenger Califont is three years old. The boat features a battery condition monitor, new clears and covers (18 months old), fresh water pump and shower gulper pumps recently replaced, salt water wash fore and aft, a Clearview revolving screen, and a Calmec autopilot. Additional amenities include a Smart TV and sound bar, 240v household fridge/freezer, and a Magma BBQ. The vessel is game rigged with a stainless game chair in storage. An Electroscan (needs new plates) and a brand new Raritan Royal flush toilet are fitted. Fishing gear and assorted marine fittings are included.
The current owners have lived aboard for 27 years. Current EWOF expires February 2029.
