As a broker, I look through heaps of boats every month. Bentley is one of the few that reaches out and grabs you! Her size and classic style are obvious when walking down the dock, but will knock you over when you arrive inside.
The largest of Frank Pelin's wooden designs, with a glass over double diagonal kauri hull, glassed over, she has been well maintained and improved by her (only) three owners since new. The waves and water haven't changed since he designed her, and this is a seriously comfortable, well looked after, big sea-boat presented in immaculate condition.
The pictures don't do justice to her space when you look inside. Everything is massive. With a two cabin, twin head arrangement, plus two double berth settee conversions in the saloon, she's great for fun with extended family or mates. And her current owner says her best positive is the huge flybridge with a custom hard-top!
Bentley is presented with twin Volvo engines with low hours and regular servicing; planes at 14kts with exceptional fuel economy; easily handled by skipper and one crew; over-sized trim tabs; engine and shore power cylinder water heating; inflatable with outboard; large volume separate fridge and freezer; 2.0m+ saloon headroom; large house battery bank with solar trickle charging; generous tankage; modern styled house and en-suite bathrooms; top quality upholstery and flybridge seating cushions; covers and canvas in excellent condition.
