Overview
About this vessel
Designed and built by Salthouse Marine, approximately 1979. Solid GRP construction with shaft drive, powered by a Caterpillar 3208 diesel engine giving 11-15 knots.
The accommodation is well designed with the head/shower forward featuring 6'2" headroom, 2 double and 3 single berths. Midships galley with a tidy saloon area and helm station. The vessel has a flybridge with all controls but is not closed in. The current owner drives from the saloon helm, which is very comfortable. There is plenty of room in the cockpit and duck board for water activities.
This vessel was reputedly owned by Auckland Harbour Board as a survey vessel, hence built accordingly with a reported engine rebuild approximately 1987. The current owner is very fastidious in his maintenance program and keeps the vessel in good condition.
