The owner is motivated to sell. He may be able to help with transport for a fee, and has a trailer for his other Adams 10.
She can be raced in class and has been raced in class. Adams 10s are a great all-round weekend racing yacht, giving loads of fun and enjoyment to sailors all around Australia. They are raced regularly in all major ports and have national championships to this day.
This Adams 10 has been set up for PHS as well as class racing. She has the ability to run asymmetric kites and code zeros off her prodder as well as incorporating a self-tacking headsail. She can also be raced as a standard 10.
Sailed well, she is very fast. At the recent Magnetic Island Race Week she started in Division 4 and in most races beat all of Division 4 and 3 and most of Division 2 over the line. She finished a more than credible 7th on PHS handicap.
