MONDIAL is a 12m Oceans 12 Pilot House cruising yacht designed by Alan Wright and launched 1984.
Owned and loved by our vendor for over 35 years, she is now only for sale due to him reluctantly retiring from a life of sailing.
With a GRP hull and teak decks she has huge volume for cruising or liveaboard, with 7 berths and 2 heads including large aft stateroom with ensuite. A spacious saloon with beautifully crafted timber interior, and a great galley with twin sinks and a gimballed stove.
Presented in extremely good original condition she had previously travelled to the Pacific Islands and Australia, and subsequently Fiordland and over 100 Cook Strait crossings with our vendor.
Powered by a 70hp Volvo MD21B done 3965hrs, cruise at 6.5 knts 2200 rpm.
Rigging inspected 2016 with s/s lines, swages, toggles and halyards replaced by Swansons. Alloy mast was off and internals updated 1993.
Sail wardrobe includes battened main, jib, tri-sail and storm jib.
