Overview
About this vessel
This John Spencer designed 36-foot fin keeler is reportedly one of the last that he designed and is a great gulf cruiser with speed. Launched approximately 1984, she is fastidiously maintained by the current owner/builder who has kept up with the maintenance of the paint work and mast. The halyards and outer main stays were replaced approximately December 2014.
The vessel has a full set of sails with a furling headsail. The whole of the decks, varnished cabin and stern are covered by overall covers to protect from the weather.
This yacht should be considered if wanting a fast, competent gulf cruiser/racer with a pedigree — a boat with Coastal Classic and other local race history and considerable New Zealand heritage and grace. The mature owner/builder has built 6 boats with a very keen eye on quality and reluctantly is motivated to sell.
