About this vessel
This is a great example of the popular Raven 31. Built in late 1987, she has been well maintained and loved throughout her life. The current owner purchased her nearly four years ago, but he now does not have enough time to sail her. The previous owner loved her for 33 years.
The interior is bright and light. The woodwork, upholstery and carpeting throughout are all in great condition.
The galley is to port as you enter the saloon. Good bench space and storage are provided with a dual burner oven, sink, fridge and freezer. The saloon has plenty of comfortable seating and the convertible dinette provides extra sleeping space. The forward V-berth cabin has particularly long berths. The toilet (with holding tank) and shower room are to port. There is also a double cabin in the starboard aft corner of the yacht. There are two water tanks believed to be about 100L each.
The Yanmar engine is easy to access under the stairs up to the cockpit. The cockpit has good seating at two levels for when underway. The tiller keeps things simple and autopilot is included. There are four winches with nearly all lines running back to the cockpit for ease of short-handed sailing. The cockpit also has sun protection due to a bimini. Rigging was redone at the end of 2022. The sail wardrobe is kept simple with a battened main (new in 2025), furling genoa (renovated in 2022) and storm jib. A dinghy tender is included along with a 2.6hp Parsun outboard.
Antifouling and engine service etc. were last done in November 2025.
Previously set up to survey, she makes a simple and safe yacht to own and sail. The perfect first yacht.
