Overview
About this vessel
A spectacular world cruising trimaran designed by Michel Joubert and custom built by Technicoque at La Rochelle, France. Built in 1988 for one owner and designed specifically for short-handed maneuvering with a separate maneuver cockpit. The yacht was built under surveyor supervision to custom owner specifications and requirements, implying a strength and reliability imperative, notably structural bulkheads. All areas of the yacht are accessible and can be dismantled. Interior furniture can be dismantled and electrical and plumbing is accessible.
The yacht is equipped with robust and redundant systems for cruising to very remote locations in total autonomy. Powered by three diesel engines, all direct drive: a Volvo 305 HP in the central hull and Perkins 60 HP engines in each ama. The yacht carries 5000 liters of fuel in three tanks giving it an almost unlimited range.
The over-specified Marechal aluminum mast features three headstays with three furling headsails and double shrouds on each side. Two Westerbeke generators keep all onboard systems running. The accommodation comprises a large salon with dining table and chart table, a very large galley 5 meters long with Gaudin 4 burner stove and professional oven, six double cabins with ensuite bathrooms, two crew cabins, a workshop including water filter, vice, and lathe, and a sail locker. The yacht has seven heads and can accommodate twelve guests in six double cabins plus three crew.
The vessel has undergone refits in 2003, 2014, and 2022, and carries a large spare parts inventory.
