Overview
About this vessel
A true icon from Archambault, the legendary French shipyard established in 1967, renowned for performance, innovation, and uncompromising quality. Their sailboats, often built for competitive racing, also excel in comfort and livability, making them the perfect choice for both thrilling regattas and relaxed cruising.
The Suspens 84 is the flagship model of the range—a true elder brother to the Suspens (more compact). It delivers generous interior volume with a spacious forward cabin and comfortable saloon, an optimized hull for high performance while keeping rigging accessible, and the perfect balance between racing excitement and cruising comfort for those who refuse to sacrifice speed for livability.
This model embodies the "Grand Grand Surprise" philosophy: a boat that surprises with its versatility, robustness, and ease of handling, whether sailed single-handed or with a crew.
The Suspens 84 features a comfortable interior layout with three double berths: a forward closed cabin, a portside aft closed cabin, and a double berth behind the chart table. The saloon is spacious and bright, with a functional galley including sink, stove, and storage, and a head compartment with toilet at the bow.
Recent Maintenance: Propeller shaft, stuffing box, and hydro ring replaced in 2023. Valves and through-hull fittings updated in 2023. Yanmar 2GM engine fully serviced.
A true racing machine that does not compromise on comfort—designed for those who crave speed and a cozy interior.
