These Jim Young designed (to survey) 47ft launches were the premium large NZ production powerboats for many years, and they have stood the test of time very well. Candescent has had a series of caring owners; she presents in impeccable condition, and is being regularly used and maintained.
Well known for stable and forgiving handling if caught out in unsavoury conditions, her spacious and well-equipped interior is ideal for extended time aboard.
Candescent has been progressively improved during her current ownership, including repainting and window replacements.
Her spacious galley features a microwave and plenty of bench space. The generous house bathroom includes a shower booth and lectrasan head. The three cabin layout offers a large queen master and two twin bunkrooms. Additional features include a diesel ducted cabin heater and full function flybridge helm.
