Tame

Tame is a well-presented traditional stern narrowboat built in 1995 by the highly regarded SM Hudson. She is a two-berth vessel with classic lines, finished externally in a striking light blue livery with red accents, while a smart black cratch cover stands proudly over the bow.

Stepping aboard from the stern, the first space is an engine room, offering valuable additional storage and practical separation before the living accommodation. This leads directly into the bedroom, which features a comfortable double bed along with a chest of drawers and a wardrobe, providing ample storage for extended stays aboard. A roof skylight brings in plenty of natural daylight, creating a bright and pleasant space.

Forward of the bedroom is a clean, modern bathroom fitted with a stylish vanity unit, generous storage, a shower, and a cassette toilet. The accommodation continues into the galley, which is well equipped with a freestanding cooker, under-counter fridge, sink and drainer. Both a skylight and a side hatch are fitted here, ensuring excellent light and ventilation and making this an enjoyable and practical cooking area.

At the bow is the saloon, which has been left unfurnished to allow a purchaser the freedom to arrange the space to suit their own requirements. This cabin benefits from a multi-fuel stove for cosy evenings aboard, along with an electric panel heater, making the boat comfortable across the seasons. Throughout the interior, Tame is stylishly finished with attractive modern wallpaper and painted panelling beneath the gunwales, giving her a smart, contemporary feel while retaining traditional narrowboat character.
