Sea Ray 370 Sedan Bridge
Overview
About this vessel
Moneybox is a 1996 Sea Ray 370 Sedan Bridge, a fiberglass motor yacht in used condition. Over $110k has been spent on work in the last three years, bringing her to very good mechanical condition and ready for summer cruising.
Engines. Twin CAT 3116 diesel engines (320 hp each, 2,350 hours) have received significant recent work. All cooling components including pumps and hoses were replaced ($25k). The port engine underwent a full top end rebuild including new head and turbo ($43k). A full service was completed in March 2025 ($4.3k). Work was performed by TwoSixTwo Marine.
Shafts and Rudders. Slight movement was discovered in the rudders and the steering ram was leaking. Rudders were removed, repacked, sealed and reinstalled. A new steering ram was installed. Shafts were removed, all bushes and seals replaced, shafts tested for straightness and engines re-aligned. Propspeed was installed on shafts and rubbers. The genset was removed, new engine mounts installed, fully serviced and reinstalled. All skin fittings were checked and repaired (brass) or replaced (plastic) as required. New start batteries were installed. Work was performed by Eastern Marine ($25k).
Electrical. Both alternators were replaced. New house batteries and a new genset battery were installed. New fans were installed in the Victron charger. New smart chargers were installed to ensure start batteries charge before house batteries, and all batteries charge from engines as well as shore power and genset. Work was performed by HMB Electrical (over $10k).
New antifoul was applied. The vessel was hauled out for jet wash and anodes in October 2025.
