About this vessel
This popular design is both an excellent sailboat and an excellent liveaboard. Hunters are renowned for their interior volume and the 410 has sold very well. This yacht is the two cabin version.
In 2015/16 the yacht had an expensive refit by her previous owners, all new through hull valves, new 60 lph watermaker, new sails, new bimini, new shade covers and many more items. Her present owners have maintained the same routine of care and attention to their yacht. They had the engine removed in March 2026 for a full rebuild from the bottom end up, new engine mounts at the same time.
Last haul out for routine hull care and anode replacements February 2026. The topsides and decks were re painted at this time, plus servicing to the rudder and folding prop.
LA BAS is a desirable cruising yacht and your early inspections are highly recommended.
Accommodation
A very attractive design, heaps of light and ventilation. The aft cabin has double access and is deceptively spacious. The day head just to port as you come down the companionway has a shower and stall and also serves the aft cabin with a second door. Full forward the en-suite bathroom has great headroom and complements an excellent owner's cabin.
All lights are now LED since 2015, the interior has marine air conditioning, a very comfortable live-aboard.
Galley
Double stainless steel sinks, hot and cold pressurised water (new water pump installed 2021). Three burner gas hob and oven. Microwave installed 2023. Two fridges, one top loading and one front loading with a new holding plate 2021. 220 VAC outlets. Small set of cutlery, frying pans, crockery, kettle, electric kettle. SPECTRA Cape Horn Extreme 60 lph watermaker installed in December 2016.
Heads
Two. One electric with new macerator 2023, one manual, fully serviced 2023.
Shower
Two below plus transom shower.
Batteries & Electrics
The yacht is both 110VAC and 220VAC, she has both shore power inlets. VICTRON 3600W Isolation transformer. Air conditioning is 110VAC. 800W inverter installed 2016. Cabin outlets both 110 and 220. House bank of 4 x 150 amp sealed batteries sited in battery boxes under cabin sole (June 2025). Engine battery is 1 x 150 amp (June 2025). Battery charging from 3 x 80W solar panels (2015), 50 amp battery charger and engine alternator. XANTREX LinkPro battery management. VICTRON 12/800 pure sine wave inverter.

Mast & Rigging
Factory SELDEN rig. The main and genoa have both been fitted with electrically furling gear. Both main and genoa furling systems were electrically and mechanically serviced in June 2023. A very reliable and easy to use rig. A custom inner forestay was installed in 2016.
Sail Inventory
Inmast electric furling mainsail with one brand new unused spare. Electric furling genoa with one brand new unused spare. Storm jib on inner forestay. Cruising chute with sock.
Machinery
YANMAR 4JH2E 50hp main engine with full rebuild in 2026. New heat exchanger November 2021. MARINAIR 7000 BTU air conditioning unit in saloon. SPECTRA Cape Horn Extreme 60 lph watermaker installed in December 2016.
