Sea Ray 480 Sedan Bridge
Overview
About this vessel
The Sea Ray 480 Sedan Bridge is arguably one of the best designs that Sea Ray ever produced with the popular three stateroom layout and superior handling.
The interior and exterior layouts are superb, featuring a fully air conditioned interior with spacious saloon and galley area, three generously sized cabins and two bathrooms, a large cockpit with moulded fibreglass steps that lead to a spacious flybridge. This is the ideal vessel for an extended getaway with the family.
The flybridge is a large space with plenty of seating for guests forward of the helm and includes a wet bar with fridge at hand. The helm area itself has two comfortable seats and updates the electronics include 2 large Garmin GPSMap XSV touchscreen plotters/fishfinders with radar. The usual autopilot and chain counter controls (100m of 10mm chain) are all within easy reach as are the Bow and Stern Thrusters to help make berthing easy.
The saloon area is vast with plenty of seating to port and a large long galley and entertainers bar area to starboard. The galley has had some recent updates with a new microwave/oven and four pull out drawer fridge/freezers. The plates and cutlery will also remain with the boat. The bar area includes plenty of storage for drinks and a TV with TracVision Satdome connection. The saloon opens up to the large cockpit and a massive hydraulic swim platform which has plenty of space to store the new Takacat 2.6 tender and the area has also been set up for fishing. A Weber BBQ with 2 gas bottles are also included for outdoor cooking.
The cabin area forward has good headroom and easy access to all three cabins. The main master cabin with island bed is forward and has a large ensuite with separate shower. The VIP Cabin to starboard has another large bed and private access into the second head with separate shower. The third cabin is two singles and includes a cupboard which hides a modern combo washer/dryer.
Other bonuses are items like a watermaker and EPIRB are included. Electrically the boat has a EWOF and NZ electrical 230v sockets throughout running off shore power and the generator. New house and starter batteries were installed in 2024.
Her current owner of 4.5 years has kept her well maintained and running smooth. The previous owner was described as meticulous and completed a long list of upgrades including bringing many of the electronics up to date.
She really has to be seen to be believed and to get a full understanding of the amount of room onboard.
