The 2001 Navigator 5300 is a spacious and capable cruising motor yacht offering a comfortable layout, excellent visibility, and a strong combination of cruising amenities and updated equipment. She is designed in the Cockpit Sedan Cruiser style with beautiful cherry interior woodwork throughout the vessel.
Powered by twin Volvo Penta TAMD63 inboard diesel engines, this Navigator provides dependable performance and efficient cruising capability. A Kohler generator supplies ample power for extended stays away from the dock.
Recent upgrades include Garmin multifunction displays at both helms, providing modern navigation and vessel information in an easy-to-use package. A bow thruster adds significant maneuverability and confidence when docking or operating in tight quarters.

The cockpit features a molded-in swim platform with folding swim ladder, hot and cold transom shower, and dockside fresh water connection. Shore power is provided via 50 amp on a Cablemaster. A starboard side cockpit door and molded-in steps lead to the side decks, with convenient storage compartments throughout. The salon offers a large sliding aft door with screen and vertical blinds, large windows with horizontal blinds, leather sofa along the starboard side with ottoman, and two leather chairs to port. A Samsung 42-inch flatscreen TV is mounted along the port side with electric lift, recently updated. Heating and air conditioning controls and a receiver for central vacuum are conveniently located. New carpet has been installed throughout.
The galley includes a Norcold stand-up refrigerator and freezer, three-burner Princess cook top, Samsung microwave oven, Corian counters with undermount sink and combination faucet sprayhead, bottle storage cabinet, coffee maker, and ample storage.
A full pilothouse features a helm seat, heating and air conditioning controls, starboard side door, three-panel windshield with three wipers and washers, and white mesh windshield cover. A dinette with observer's sofa and table is also located in the pilothouse. Updated Garmin MFD and Autopilot provide modern navigation capability. Fusion Marine Stereo head unit offers AM/FM/SXM/Pandora/Bluetooth/NMEA connectivity with cockpit remote and flybridge controls. A Standard Horizon marine VHF radio, Wesmar bow thruster control, Ritchie compass, Bennett trim tab controls, and ITT Jabsco remote spotlight control complete the station. A settee with table and new upholstery is also included.
The flybridge is equipped with two updated touch screen Garmin MFDs with color sounder, 48-mile color radar, and integrated controls. Ample seating accommodates entertaining. A Jenn-Air two-burner electric grill and wet bar with stainless steel sink and counter space provide galley functionality. A U-Line refrigerator with ice maker is installed. A Brower Systems davit with 800-pound capacity is mounted, with a West Marine tender (no motor) and black Sunbrella cover available. A fiberglass and aluminum radar arch supports a black Sunbrella bimini top and 12-volt deck light. Black upholstery covers and new cushions and covers complete the space.
The master stateroom, located aft in the lower level, provides unmatched privacy and space with its own heating and air conditioning zone and lockable privacy door. A queen-size bed offers easy access from three sides, with built-in nightstands and table lamps, overhead reading lamps, and a 25-inch flatscreen TV. Laundry facilities include a Kenmore washer and GE SpaceMaker dryer. The en-suite head features a Vac-u-flush toilet, stand-up shower with acrylic door, sink and vanity with mirrored medicine cabinet, mirrored overhead, and operable portlight.
Guest accommodations include a day head to starboard with Vac-u-flush toilet, stand-up shower with bi-fold door, sink and vanity, mirrored medicine cabinet, and mirrored overhead. A twin bunk room to port features sliding privacy door, upper and lower bunks, operable portlight, overhead lighting, and storage. The VIP stateroom forward is appointed with a queen-sized pedestal bed with four storage drawers below, overhead lighting, overhead deck hatch, full-length mirror, upper cabinets, and a large closet with tons of storage.
Completed April 2026: bottom painted, cutlass bearings replaced, hull waxed, all plastic above waterline through hulls replaced with stainless steel, fuel filters replaced, and air cleaners replaced.
Completed October 2025: heat exchangers cleaned, exhaust elbows and risers replaced, aftercoolers removed, cleaned and reinstalled, oil changed, turbos removed and serviced, and generator serviced with new exhaust elbow.
Twin Volvo Penta TAMD 63 main engines with ZF direct drive transmissions power the vessel. A Kohler 13KW generator, Reverso oil exchange system, two Pro Mariner battery chargers, and Tide dripless shaft seals with spare seals complete the engine room. An engine room camera is linked into the Garmin MFD.
