MARNIK is a 2004 Markline 1100 power vessel, a 39'8" flybridge saltwater fishing boat built by Marine Solutions Ltd to a design by Marksply—Bill Upfold. She is constructed of fiberglass and powered by twin Mercruiser 7.3L diesel inboards, each producing 270hp, for a combined total of 540hp. The engines, installed in 1994, have relatively low hours: 82 hours on the starboard engine and 97 hours on the port engine. She cruises at 12 knots and reaches a maximum speed of 15 knots.
