Bee Haven is a very well-kept Fleming 65 with a three-cabin layout. She is a luxury pilothouse motoryacht known for her seaworthiness, long-range cruising capabilities, and comfortable living space, and has been lovingly maintained by the current owners. She is easy to board from both the port and starboard side decks, as well as through the transom door from the swim platform. The deck layout makes for easy docking or anchoring out. With her spacious interior and comfortable accommodations, the possibilities are endless aboard Bee Haven, from full-time living to full-time cruising to the Bahamas and beyond. She is powered by the preferred Caterpillar C-15 engines, which have just completed the 3,000-hour service with new aftercoolers installed. Current engine survey and oil analysis are available.
No dinghy included.
Entering the salon from the aft deck through the double doors, you can see the beauty of this Fleming 65. The spacious beam provides enough room for separate dining and lounging areas, and the open floor plan between the salon and galley makes for a natural flow when entertaining. The salon is equipped with a settee to port and a dinette table and dinette settee to starboard, along with ottoman seating. There is also a Smart TV that can hide away in the beautiful cabinetry.
The fully equipped U-shaped galley sits just beyond the salon to port on the same level, making for easy meal prep and entertaining friends and family. It features granite countertops and a double sink, along with a waste disposal, convection microwave oven, induction four-burner cooktop with custom pot holders, and a side-by-side refrigerator with freezer drawer, ice maker, and water in the door. To starboard there is a dish locker and pantry with additional counter space.
Starboard Cabin: Twin L-shaped over-under bunks with hanging locker and vanity with mirror.
Port Stateroom: Twin berths with a pullout bunk above, hanging locker, and desk/vanity with mirror.
The Guest Head is forward of the starboard guest room, with faucet, vanity with granite countertops, mirror, head, and shower stall with curved glass door.
In the companionway between the guest head and the starboard stateroom is a sliding teak door with the washer and separate dryer.
The Master Stateroom is forward with a queen-size island berth with storage underneath, overhead skylight hatch, two full-size hanging lockers to either side, and additional storage with a built-in storage cabinet.
The en-suite Master Head has a vanity with granite countertops, mirror, sink, and shower stall.
It is just three steps from the galley to the well-appointed pilothouse, which offers excellent visibility for navigation. From here you have access to all of the electrical distribution panels and electronics. Sliding doors on both the port and starboard sides open for easy access to the walkaround side decks. A settee and table, together with a chart table with drawers to starboard, provide plenty of space for charts, cruising guides, and binoculars. The helm seat is centered at the helm, and a pilothouse day head is also on this level. Steps from the pilothouse lead up to the flybridge.
The enclosed, air-conditioned flybridge is easily accessed from the pilothouse or by the step ladder from the cockpit. The bench helm seat and console are located to port, raised slightly above the rest of the flybridge and isolated from it for improved visibility. The electronics console hinges open for easy access to the back of the electronics. The starboard side of the flybridge features a U-shaped settee with a large molded table with a teak top, while to port there is a grill, wet bar with sink, and refrigerator.
The engine room is accessed from a hatch aft of the salon doors on the outside, with a step down to the oval, submarine-style engine room door with viewing port. Systems and engineering are a notable feature of all Fleming Yachts, whose philosophy has always been to choose only the best equipment available for the job and to make sure that it is readily accessible for maintenance. To achieve the extremely low sound and vibration that Flemings are known for, Aqua-drive shaft systems transfer the thrust directly to the hull and isolate the engine by using soft engine mounts.
The lazarette houses the water tanks, steering gear, and air-conditioning compressors while also leaving ample room for storing cruising gear such as spare anchors, rode, lines, fenders, and parts. Locating the AC compressors here instead of in a hot engine room improves performance and efficiency and minimises noise. Additionally, all battery isolation switches are accessible from outside the engine room.
