Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 42DS

Valkyrie is a 2006 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 42DS in excellent condition. The 42DS is well known for its extra head room in the saloon and large windows which allows ample light throughout the whole boat. There are 2 double cabins, both with ensuites, with the master cabin being in the stern of the boat allowing for a large King size bed and ample room. The saloon table also drops down to form an extra berth or day bed.

The galley is well situated on the starboard side and opposite it on the port side is a well positioned chart table.

A big bonus of this boat is that there has been a large chilly bin converted into a 12v freezer which is great for extended trips. There has also been a diesel heater installed so you will never be cold.

In the cockpit you will find ample storage with the port aft locker and the 2 lockers in the cockpit seating along with a nice teak cockpit table with folding leaves making it a great place for alfresco dining and entertaining. The bimini, spray dodger and stack pack are all in as new condition with sides for the bimini so that you can enclose the cockpit for bad weather.

On the transom of the boat is a removable stainless steel arch with solar panels and there is additional solar panel capacity on the fore deck which is great for keeping the batteries topped up.

This 42DS has had many extensive upgrades over the last few years including a bow thruster that takes all of the hassle out of berthing or maneuvering in tight spaces.

Along with a rig check completed in November / December 2025 it has also had a full cut and polish along with antifoul and engine service giving you the confidence that this vessel has been well looked after and is ready to go.
