Designed to be an improved American Tug 34/365
The MV KOHO is a high quality, Canadian built vessel lofted along the lines of an American Tug 365 but with generous headroom throughout, along with the added bonus of a fly bridge helm station which is easily accessed from side steps on either side of the Pilothouse Dutch Doors. Her spacious engine room houses a Cummins QSB 380hp which gives a 7 - 12 knot cruise with a top speed of 15 knots. Properly equipped for cruising in the NorthWest, including stern and bow thrusters, Hurricane hydronic heat and a deluxe dinghy package.
Recent improvements include new Garmin electronics, a Zen water-maker, full solar panel array with Lithium-ion batteries - Victron system, inverter, new anchor windlass, new full cockpit enclosure and Bimini top and much more.

Cockpit
The covered cockpit has high sided gunwales and is accessed from the swim grid through a centre transom gate. Cockpit has a boarding ladder to upper deck/flybridge with Diamond SeaGlaze hatch cover. The cockpit includes a new full enclosure, new foam boat flooring on exterior surfaces including upper deck, fresh water wash down, and hot & cold water shower. A Dickinson rail mounted Sea-B-Que BBQ is mounted with cover. A propane locker houses 2 x 20lb Aluminum Propane Tanks and a collapsible boarding ladder/device.
Davit System
Well designed deluxe Dinghy Davit with electric winch and remote maintains swim grid access to center transom boarding gate.

Salon
Entered from the cockpit through a Diamond SeaGlaze Door to a wide beam salon with galley to starboard. To Port is an L shaped settee and high low table which converts to a large queen berth. Interior cherry wood finish and flooring. The salon includes a Force 10 propane 3 burner stove with oven, new Nova Kool RU9000 AC/DC large two door fridge/freezer, two bowl sink with Moen single lever faucet, hot water recirculating valve, and large storage accessed under countertops and settee. Hinged hatch access to bilge/storage under galley/salon sole provides access to two fresh water 55 gallon poly tanks, two 200 US Gallon aluminum fuel tanks with drain valves, and a 2 year old Kuma 11 gallon hot water tank with AC electric or hydronic heating.
Pilothouse
Up three steps from the galley/salon accesses the raised pilot house with large forward sloping windows, port and starboard Diamond SeaGlaze Dutch Doors, Lewmar hatch and two small rear facing opening windows. The helm station is equipped with new Garmin Electronics including Plotter, Radar, and Sounder, Autopilot with Remote, new search light with remote, Cummins Smart Craft Display, Kobelt Smart Control electronic single lever control station, Side Power Bow & Stern Thrusters, three windshield wiper controls, new XM Weather unit & stereo, remote bilge pump status lights, hydronic heat control, lighted compass, Destroyer style helm wheel with hydraulic steering, windshield defrosters, AC/DC Blue Seas Panels, and remote Fireboy Engine Room fire extinguisher panel. The pilothouse is Starlink ready.
Engine Room
Large engine room accessed through two pilothouse hatches with folding ladders houses a Cummins QSB 5.9 380 HO with new high output alternator and fully serviced. Twin Disc Transmission MG5061SC and Twin Disc Trolling Valve are installed. Additional equipment includes Zen Watermaker, Lithium House Batteries plus AGM start & thruster batteries, Hurricane II Hydronic Diesel Heater with 34,000 BTU output and engine heat exchanger for heating underway without using diesel heater, Reverso oil change system, domestic water pump with accumulator tank, Fireboy Engine Room Fire Extinguisher with remote deployment, and Racor 500 Dual filter system.
Stateroom and Head
Stateroom and Head are accessed from a companionway on the port side of pilothouse via four steps down. The stateroom features a large queen walk-around berth with two pull out drawers below, new queen mattress, custom mattress on hypervent anti-condensation matting, storage access under the mattress, and two cedar lined lockers. Forward bilge access leads to bilge pump, holding tank and forward 55 gallon water tank. The head features tiled flooring, electric head with Tecma Silent Flush fresh water operation, vanity with hot water recirculating valve, and large stand-up shower with single faucet wand control.
Flybridge
Accessed from either port or starboard side steps from the Dutch Doors or from the cockpit access ladder, the upper steering station features a new heavy duty Bimini top, soft foam boat flooring, two helm chairs, folding mast with drop leaf table, starboard helm station with Garmin Plotter and engine instrumentation, single lever Kobelt electronic engine control, VHF remote microphone, and 12V outlet for tablet plug-in.
Ground Tackle
New Lewmar windlass with remote and chain counter. Rocna Vulcan 33kg anchor with total 450' of ground tackle: 250' 5/16th G4 High Tensile chain and 200' 3 strand nylon rode. Secondary anchor is a Delta with 15' chain and 200' rode. Extra fenders and floats are aboard, and anchor wash down is available with either sea or fresh water option.
