Meet Zulu, a 2006 Sunseeker Manhattan 60 that has benefited from an extensive program of cosmetic, mechanical and systems upgrades, with approximately 900k of receipts and full references provided on all work done.
With her unmistakable Sunseeker profile, generous flybridge, expansive aft cockpit and three-cabin interior with a galley down configuration, Zulu frees up the entire cockpit for seating and entertaining. She presents as a vessel that has been actively improved and modernised rather than simply maintained.
Her exterior has undergone a full two-pack repaint of the superstructure, giving the yacht a fresh shine and modern appearance. Brand-new teak has been fitted throughout the main deck and swim platform, complemented by all-new exterior upholstery, matching covers, a new bimini top cover and a custom stainless-steel aft awning that significantly improves the usability of the cockpit in all weather conditions.
The oversized hydraulic swim platform, capable of holding a tender up to 300kg, offers an excellent waterside entertainment area. Custom stainless-steel safety rails have been added to both port and starboard sides of the platform, together with a brand-new stainless-steel barbecue that can be easily moved to either side depending on the conditions and the yacht's position, creating a practical space for entertaining, swimming and tender operations.
Inside, Zulu has been comprehensively refreshed with all-new headliners, wall linings, bedding, new carpet and updated upholstery. The rich gloss timber cabinetry remains a defining feature of the interior, paired with a spacious main saloon, elevated internal lower helm and white and blue changeable downlights.
Accommodation is arranged across three cabins. The full-beam master suite offers excellent volume, generous hanging storage and a private ensuite. Forward is a comfortable VIP cabin, while the third guest cabin shares the dayhead as an ensuite and is configured with twin berths and a converter mattress to turn the twins into a double. The layout provides comfortable accommodation for family cruising or extended stays aboard.
The lower galley is well equipped with extensive refrigeration, stone benchtops, cooking facilities and practical storage. Its separation from the main saloon allows the living space to remain open and uncluttered while still providing a functional area for meal preparation.
The crew cabin is accessed through an aft hatch via the swim platform. Under the current ownership, this space has been repurposed as a highly functional storage and utility room, however crew facilities including a single bed layout have been preserved if a functional crew quarters is your preference.
The original second crew bed has been repurposed to house a custom built, brand-new lithium battery installation with a massive 8KVA Victron Inverter Charger, which allows the vessel to fully operate silently at 12v, 24v and 240v for days without the generator. All systems can be controlled via mobile app or the newly installed touch screen panel. The owner went to town on the electrical installation, including moving dedicated AGM power to the bow for the bow thruster, installing new AGM's for the engine and generator start and a new 12V AGM circuit for the stereo. All AGM's are charged by the lithium house through DC-DC converters.
Zulu has also received significant upgrades to her navigation and entertainment systems. Both helm stations feature updated Garmin multifunction displays, auto-pilot and a bluetooth yacht master controller. The sound system has been extensively upgraded with a Fusion installation, large subwoofer, multiple zone amplifiers and speakers positioned throughout, including forward-facing wake board speakers. Zulu also has a four antennae commset and wifi installation with a spare dome that fits a Starlink.
Mechanically, the improvements have been equally comprehensive. Recent works include a full saltwater service to both main engines and generators, new engine-room blowers, newly fabricated exhaust assemblies and two new main engine high-pressure diesel fuel pumps. A new anchor windlass, Ultra anchor and bow thruster have also been installed, adding further confidence for extended cruising and overnight anchoring.
Zulu also boasts an upgraded hot water system with a brand new 120L hot water tank and high volume pump allowing concurrent showers at high pressure.
The flybridge is one of Zulu's strongest features, offering a second helm station, generous seating, a wet-bar arrangement and excellent visibility. A substantial new bimini provides shade, while the open-plan layout makes this an ideal space for entertaining underway or relaxing at anchor.
Zulu represents an excellent opportunity to acquire a heavily upgraded and turnkey Sunseeker Manhattan 60 with a proven and highly practical layout. Her extensive list of recent improvements, refreshed interior, modernised electrical systems and impressive outdoor entertaining spaces make her well suited to family cruising, weekends away or extended coastal adventures.
