The vessel operates from a landing on the lower Waikato River, and passengers and guests can enjoy a unique venue and a scenic journey on a part of the river rich with history, yet tranquil and quiet.
The vessel, location, and riverside facilities are all included in the offer and are in great condition, with Maritime NZ, local authority, and community approvals secured and renewable. The supporting mooring, service pontoon, and long driveway to the riverbank are a major investment that ensure the safety and security of operations and are included in the offer.
Discovery 1 is well maintained, very well equipped and has recently undergone a number of upgrades to keep her in top condition. Recently renewed Resource Consents for the operation for a further 15 years.
