About this vessel
The '450' is an iconic model from Elan Yachts, a shipyard renowned for producing fast yachts, designed by Rob Humphreys and built properly with full, proper lamination of all structural components and bulkheads into the hull — this is proper boat building.
That structural integrity, combined with powerful sail plans make Elan Yachts rewarding to sail and yet easily managed short handed. Below decks Tanga has a traditional 3 cabin layout with large L-shape galley, ample storage, natural light and ventilation. The master cabin boasts a large island bed and the luxury of a separate shower compartment. The saloon enjoys U-shaped seating either side of the dining table and down aft are 2 good sized, comfortable quarterberths.
Having been in Cat 1 relatively recently, this yacht is proven as a great offshore capable vessel and would be a good option for anyone considering offshore adventures in the South Pacific or beyond.
