About this vessel
Barely A Wake is a well-presented 48ft cruiser stern narrowboat, built in 2018 by Pennine Cruisers. Finished in a smart grey and turquoise colour scheme with her name proudly emblazoned along the cabin sides, she has a clean, contemporary look both inside and out. She was last blacked in April 2026 and benefits from solar panels on the roof, making her a practical and efficient choice for a range of cruising or liveaboard use.
The boat is laid out in a reverse configuration, entering from the cruiser stern into a bright, open-plan galley and dinette area. The galley has a modern, streamlined feel and is well equipped with a built-in hob, oven and grill, a brand new fridge freezer, and a sink with drainer. There is generous worktop space and plenty of cupboard storage, making it a very usable kitchen whether for weekends away or longer stays.
Moving forward, the dinette offers a comfortable seating area and converts easily into a double berth when needed, giving flexible sleeping arrangements. A multifuel stove is positioned in this space, adding warmth and character, and is complemented by central heating throughout the boat.
The bathroom is fitted with a wash basin, a hip bath with shower over, and a pump-out toilet, with the tank accessible from both sides of the boat for convenience.
Beyond this, the bedroom provides a fixed double berth along with useful storage cupboards. Steps lead up from here to the bow deck, completing a practical and well-thought-out layout.
