Marooned sets a benchmark in luxury long-range power catamarans, combining exceptional comfort, refined design and genuine bluewater capability. Designed by VPLP and built by Lagoon, this professionally maintained 2020 Lagoon Sixty 7 has been thoughtfully equipped for extended family cruising and genuine adventure. Purpose-built for passagemaking as well as relaxed coastal cruising, Marooned has explored the South Pacific carrying surfboards, kiteboarding and diving equipment, a tender, jet ski and everything required for extended periods away. Her power-catamaran hull provides excellent stability, efficient performance and a shallow draft, opening up anchorages and protected bays that can be difficult to access in conventional motor yachts of a similar size.
The protected aft cockpit provides generous alfresco dining, a natural connection to the water, direct access to the port-side galley and private access to the owner's suite on the starboard side. Dedicated storage keeps boards, diving equipment, water toys and cruising gear organised and ready to deploy. Inside, the saloon is light, airy and exceptionally spacious, with extensive glazing and full-width sliding doors creating one continuous living area with the aft cockpit. From the lower helm, direct access leads through to the forward sun deck, allowing effortless movement from the cockpit through the saloon to the foredeck.
Accommodation is arranged across four main cabins. The owner's suite is a private retreat with an island bed, walk-in wardrobe, large ensuite and direct access to the aft deck. Two generous forward guest cabins each offer a double bed and private ensuite, while the midship bunk cabin also has its own bathroom. One of the original forward crew areas has been converted into a practical workshop and dedicated organised storage space for tools, spares and equipment.
The port-hull galley is fully equipped for extended time aboard with Miele appliances, a full-size Samsung fridge and freezer, dishwasher, washer-dryer and additional refrigeration throughout the yacht. Further upgrades include electric blinds, upgraded audiovisual systems, air-purifying systems, a wine fridge and additional refrigeration. The expansive flybridge is a major living area with an elevated helm and excellent visibility, lounge and sunbathing zones, aft dining and a fully appointed wet bar with refrigeration, sink and storage.
Marooned is powered by upgraded twin 440HP Yanmar 6LY shaft-drive diesels. She cruises comfortably at approximately 10-12 knots, reaches around 15 knots and offers a cruising range of approximately 1,500 nautical miles. New 30-inch five-blade propellers were installed in March 2025. Tankage includes 5,500L of fuel and 1,000L of fresh water. Long-range systems include twin Onan generators, a Spectra watermaker, upgraded water filtration with UV treatment and water softening, and an upgraded Victron inverter and charging system with remote monitoring. The house battery bank was replaced in October 2024.
Twin maritime Starlink systems, KVH satellite communications and a Peplink 5G network with access points throughout the yacht support remote work and family connectivity. A 4.5m Highfield tender with 60HP Yamaha outboard is carried on the hydraulic swim platform, together with a Yamaha VX Cruiser jet ski on a custom movable rail and pulley system that can be positioned on either quarter for controlled launching and recovery.
Combining contemporary elegance with substantial storage, workshop facilities, communications, water toys and proven cruising systems, Marooned is ready to continue exploring the Australian coastline, the Whitsundays, the South Pacific and beyond.
