Era 1 is a 2021 Prestige 590 Flybridge offering a compelling combination of contemporary Prestige design, three-cabin accommodation, a hardtop flybridge and extensive recent investment in her principal mechanical systems.
Privately owned and never chartered, she is currently registered in Langkawi. Her current owners purchased her in 2023 and have subsequently undertaken a comprehensive refit that goes considerably beyond routine maintenance.
Both Cummins QSC 8.3 diesel engines have been completely stripped, overhauled and rebuilt, while both pod drives have also been fully overhauled and rebuilt. The Seakeeper 6 gyro stabiliser has been overhauled, new batteries and a new battery charger installed, and the yacht was freshly antifouled immediately before returning to the water in July 2026.
The engines have approximately 400 total running hours, with only around 10 hours accumulated since their complete rebuild.
Era 1 is powered by twin Cummins QSC 8.3 diesel engines coupled to pod drives. During the current ownership, both engines were removed from normal service for a comprehensive overhaul, being fully stripped and rebuilt. At the same time, the pod drives were also completely overhauled and rebuilt.
A bow thruster provides additional assistance when manoeuvring, while the Seakeeper 6 helps reduce roll and improve comfort aboard. Electrical power away from shore is provided by a Cummins Onan 17.5kW generator.
Era 1 is the tender garage version of the Prestige 590, an important distinction for buyers comparing different configurations of the model. Housing the tender within the stern allows the aft cockpit to retain a cleaner and more usable layout, with comfortable bench seating overlooking the water.
The hydraulic platform provides convenient access to the water when swimming or enjoying watersports, while the garage keeps tender storage separate from the principal guest areas.
Below deck, Era 1 has a three-cabin, two-head layout designed to provide comfortable accommodation for owners and guests. The centrepiece is the impressive full-beam owner's suite, which benefits from the considerable width available amidships.
The owner's accommodation includes a full-beam ensuite bathroom incorporating a dressing area, separate shower and toilet, creating a particularly private owner's area for extended periods aboard. All new linen has recently been fitted throughout the cabins as part of the current owners' programme of improvements.
The Prestige 590's main deck is designed around open-plan living and easy movement between the interior and cockpit. The galley is equipped with an electric stove, oven, refrigerator/freezer and sink. Its position on the main deck makes it practical both when preparing meals aboard and when entertaining guests between the saloon and cockpit.
The large flybridge provides a second major outdoor living area and is protected by a hardtop, making the space considerably more usable in Southeast Asia's tropical climate. A second helm station allows the yacht to be operated from the flybridge, while a separate lower helm on the main deck provides an alternative driving position when conditions favour operating from inside.
The flybridge also features a wet bar equipped with a sink and electric BBQ, creating a practical outdoor entertaining area for meals and drinks while cruising or at anchor.
Era 1 is equipped with Raymarine navigation electronics at both helm stations, providing the skipper with the flexibility to operate the yacht from either the main deck or flybridge. Navigation equipment includes Raymarine Axiom multifunction displays at both helms, Raymarine GPS, Raymarine radar and Raymarine autopilot. Together with pod-drive propulsion and the bow thruster, the dual-helm arrangement provides a practical setup for both cruising and close-quarters manoeuvring.
The current owners have also invested in refreshing a number of the yacht's exterior protection and onboard items. New canvas includes a rear cockpit enclosure, table covers, helm covers, windscreen covers and side window covers. All cabin linen has also been replaced.
The yacht is being sold with a useful inventory of tools and spare parts, providing the next owner with equipment accumulated for the ongoing operation and maintenance of the vessel.
For buyers comparing late-model Prestige 590s, the extent of this recent mechanical work is an important part of Era 1's story. With the major overhaul work now completed and only around 10 hours recorded on the engines since their rebuild, Era 1 is offered to her next owner following a significant programme of investment.
