About this vessel
The DELTA 400 SW is an uncompromising option for those looking for a family-friendly, fast, seaworthy, and comfortable boat that can be enjoyed in any weather, all year round, and with any mission in mind. With her advanced, stepped hull form, incredible rigidity and light weight, the 400 responds immediately to helm inputs. With available joystick control, docking manoeuvres are a breeze. Advanced hull and propulsion yield amazing fuel economy.
The DELTA 400 SW is the original DELTA all-weather boat with a few new design features. This 40 has been setting trends since her introduction in 2007 as the first and only motor boat built with vacuum technology in vinyl ester and divinycell ("Diab Core Infusion Technology"). The newly designed 400 SW by Lars Modin maintains mostly all engineering features as the 40 and continues DELTA's crisp, modern interiors.
Exterior
The asymmetric deck layout allows for increased interior space while providing easy and safe passage between the stern and the bow of the boat, even in the most challenging sea- and weather conditions. Opening roof sections provide maximum versatility for shade and sun. The 400 includes aft-access to the bow on the starboard side with teak floors leading the way.
Interior Design
The interior is crafted with materials such as satin teak, Corian, and glass mosaics. Below deck, the Delta 400 SW comfortably accommodates up to six guests across three cabins. The forward owner's suite is tucked into the bow, complemented by a midships double guest cabin and an additional aft cabin accessible directly from the helmdeck. All cabins feature premium Comfort mattresses and are warmed by an Eberspächer diesel heater for year-round cruising. The generous head includes a walk-in glass-door shower, a Duravit Bacino basin, and elegant Vola fittings.
The salon table can accommodate up to nine people in raised cushions for best visibility through the large picture windows. The galley has been updated with white countertops. The helm is designed with all the necessary functions within reach of the operator and enough room for a large navigation screen. Its sun-drenched, single-level helmdeck offers 360-degree panoramic views, all protected under a powered glass sunroof with integrated sunshade.
Layout
A sizable forepeak master has ample headroom and lots of stowage and a starboard-side guest is about par for the course for a boat of this size. Aft and to port in the saloon is a wooden sliding door that, once pushed aside, reveals what is essentially a second master, down a few steps. The berth here is actually larger than the forepeak master's. The comfortable deck house includes a fully equipped galley to starboard and seating with excellent views around a raised dinette to port.
