The hull and superstructure are entirely welded aluminium construction according to ABS regulations. A hydraulic operated aluminium watertight transom door accesses the tender garage.
The design brief called for an easily driven hull with special regard to required propulsion power and fuel economy. Computational Fluid Dynamics calculations were used to develop the hull form. Twin MTU 16V2000M93 engines give the yacht a top speed of 20.7 knots and a fast cruising speed in excess of 16 knots. Fuel economy is exceptional: 7.8 litres per nautical mile at 12 knots, and 14 litres per nautical mile at 16 knots, in combination with normal generator operation.
The hull form is round-bilge with spray rails in the fore body. Trim wedges fitted to the inside of the propeller tunnels provide sufficient lift at the stern to keep running trim near horizontal throughout the entire speed range. A bulbous bow reduces wave-making resistance. Special attention was given to the design of propeller shafts, appendages and propellers themselves, resulting in very low noise levels of less than 55 dBA at 75% MCR.
The owners brought years of boating experience when they approached Cor D. Rover to design a triple deck offering more living space both inside and outside, wrapped in dynamic and sporty styled bodywork.
Owner and guest accommodation comprises five staterooms with an additional sixth stateroom facility in the sky-lounge for a total of 12 people. On the lower deck are two large full beam VIP staterooms and two guest cabins, all with en-suites. The Owner's stateroom is located on the main-deck forward. The skylounge with full bathroom facilities can be used as a skylounge, gymnasium, or as a sixth stateroom with en-suite bathroom.
The main saloon and dining room feature a bar area. All outside decks have ample seating for large parties.
The interior is contemporary with a combination of wood, fabrics and leather accented by lively colours, designed by renowned Dutch interior designer Piet Boon.
The sundeck features a jacuzzi and an additional bar area with barbecue, icemaker and fridge.
Crew accommodation provides for six crew plus captain, with three double crew cabins (twin bunked) and one captain cabin with double bed.
One unique feature is a direct staircase on portside from the sundeck to the sunbathing area on the Portuguese bridge, enabling owners and guests to move around without entering the interiors.
Audio and visual equipment is of very high standards, including a full Crestron system with Kaleidescape players and controls for lighting, blinds, intercom and CCTV supplied by Art Cinema.
Custom built stainless steel professional-type galley. Laundry facilities include iron table with iron machine and two Miele washing machines and tumble dryers.
The yard, in close cooperation with the owner and management team, provided the basis for Dutch Yacht Builders of Enkhuizen to enter the mega-yacht market with an exciting motor yacht. Exterior design is by Cor D. Rover Design with interior styling by Piet Boon Design. The hull was designed by Van Oossanen & Associates BV with naval architecture by Oliver van Meer Design and undoubtedly sets a new standard in Dutch yacht building. The best materials and highest level of equipment have been committed to the finalization of this motor yacht.
