This 2010 Axcell Yachts 650 is one of a kind, almost riding on top of the water with her air lift system. She is the only 650 ever built by Axcell Yachts. A total of three Axcells were built, two 60 footers and this one 65.
The Axcell 650 is outfitted with top of the line materials. When you enter the salon door, you are greeted with absolutely gorgeous interiors, with a leather sofa and leather headliner throughout, hardwood floors, and a galley featuring large granite countertops, black appliances, and substantial pantry and storage space close to the laundry room with a washer, dryer, and flip-down bed.
The yacht features three staterooms and three heads, all outfitted with top of the line furnishings and lots of storage for an extended stay on board. Each stateroom has a personal head adjoined with custom glass showers.
There are two engine rooms, each with a single 1,015-hp Caterpillar C18 ACERT diesel on the centerline, a carbon-fiber jackshaft, and a power-takeoff pump at the rear of the marine gear. The jackshaft couples the engine to a fully articulated ZF MiniRex surface-piercing drive. The power-takeoff unit energizes onboard hydraulics.
The engine rooms are impressive, with many expensive stainless steel fuel lines, top-shelf Northstar AGM batteries, and precisely loomed and laid-out electrical runs.
The air blower system is fully automatic. The pump takes four to seven percent of the engine's power and is controlled and automated by a computer, allowing the boat to run lighter and faster when the throttles are pressed forward at 1,300 rpm.
This Axcell 650 was not registered until September 2020. She was used as a manufacturer's demo vessel that traveled to boat shows, which explains her low hours. The yacht was fully updated and refit in 2022.
