About this vessel
The Azimut 55 incorporates a styling scheme that sets her apart from previous Azimut designs. Gone are the elliptical cabin windows of previous years, replaced by a pair of distinctive fin shaped salon windows. Azimut designers also added three new vertical glass panels in the hullsides, a subtle innovation that introduces natural lighting into the full beam master stateroom. Built on a good running deep-v hull with prop pockets, the three stateroom, two head floor plan of the Azimut 55 has arranged both the galley and dinette forward on the pilothouse level. The cockpit, shaded by the bridge overhang, has a teak sole and provides access to the engine room. The optional Caterpillar C-12 motors provide the type of performance that is expected of the thoroughbred class of vessel chosen by only the most discerning of yachtsmen.
This Azimut 55 has spent most of its life in fresh water and was brought back down to Florida in 2023 to sell. The starboard motor has approximately 1550 hrs. The Port motor was replaced and has approximately 225 hrs since replacement. Current generator hrs are approximately 2550. Since purchase the current owner has constantly upgraded the vessel throughout to bring her to modern standards.
