The 2025 Azimut Magellano 60 is a sophisticated and versatile yacht built for those who wish to combine the comforts of a luxe cruising vessel with the performance capability to reach new horizons. With its elegant design, generous living spaces, smart deck layouts, and efficient semi-displacement hull, it's ideal for extended cruising or stylish coastal voyages without compromising on speed when desired.
Cruising Versatility: The dual-mode hull allows smooth transitions between displacement efficiency and semi-planing performance.
Sea Keeping & Comfort: The yacht handles well in various conditions; on test, the Magellano 60 was comfortable even in moderate seas, assisted by gyro stabilization and trim tab control.
Quiet & Refined: Noise levels measured ~67 dB at the lower helm at 20 knots, ~72 dB in the owner's cabin, ~62 dB in the VIP cabin.
Sustainability Option: Azimut offers delivery with HVOlution biofuel (hydrogenated vegetable oil) to reduce emissions by 60-90 %, depending on sourcing.
Design & Styling: Exterior by Ken Freivokh, interiors by Azimut's in-house studio.
"Infinity Terrace" Concept: The cockpit is extended longitudinally, with a glazed transom to allow uninterrupted views to the horizon.
Cockpit / Aft Deck: Sofa-facing layout toward sea, a central table, and a two-stool bar that shares the countertop with the aft galley when a drop-down window is opened.
Foredeck Lounge: Booth seating, sun pads, and flexible social layout for relaxing forward.
Flybridge: Spacious flybridge under an optional hardtop, with seating, dining, wet bar / BBQ, helm, and generous lounging areas.
Hydraulic Swim Platform: For easy boarding, water access, and stowage of a tender (often up to ~4.25 m).
The yacht accommodates 3 guest cabins plus 1 crew cabin (aft), sleeping 6 guests comfortably plus a crew berth for one. There are 3 guest heads plus 1 crew head. The owner's cabin is full-beam midship with en-suite bathroom. The VIP / guest cabins feature a forward VIP cabin with its own head, and a convertible twin (or double) guest cabin sharing a head via companionway. The crew cabin is accessed via hatch from the transom / swim platform, with its own head and storage.
The internal décor is light and airy: oak veneers, off-white tones, and modern finishes. Large windows flood the saloon with natural light, especially the dramatic 8' × 5' side window to starboard.
